How Webfleet Trailer works

All critical trailer data collects through the OEM factory-fitted telematics already fitted in your trailers.

Activation can be initiated via the OEM's telematics portal, choosing Webfleet as an endpoint. Trailers then connected to the Webfleet platform via a VIN number and associated account.

Data is then transferred to Webfleet, where your fleet manager or driver gets access to the complete range of advanced trailer management capabilities.

OEM connectivity provides similar data capabilities as the Webfleet LINK 350 devices.

How Webfleet Trailer works

Option 1: LINK 350 connectivity

LINK 350 connects directly to the trailer’s EBS system and collects trailer load, braking and trailer system data.

Data is then transferred to Webfleet where fleet managers and drivers receive trailer monitoring and reporting insights.

LINK 350 device relays the trailer’s EBS and TPMS data to the Webfleet platform.

Tyre pressure and temperature data is collected from strap mounted sensors and sent to the LINK 350’s embedded TPMS receiver. Data is then transferred to the Webfleet platform.

Option 2: Trailer OEM connectivity

All critical trailer data collects through the OEM factory-fitted telematics already fitted in your trailers.
