Our story so far
When we launched the Webfleet fleet management solution from our original office in Leipzig 25 years ago, the Internet was becoming an essential part of the way the world worked and lived. And we were forerunners in using Cloud and Internet technology to help companies boost productivity and cut their costs.
In 2005, we were acquired by TomTom. Becoming a part of the company that revolutionized navigation took us to the international stage. As TomTom Telematics, we introduced connected navigation, pioneered the use of on-board diagnostics, and re-shaped driving behavior improvement with OptiDrive 360.
Today we serve 50,000 customers with vehicles driving in 60 countries across the world.
Webfleet will not only continue this development but accelerate it. And the support of Bridgestone, the world's largest tire company, gives us the perfect platform from which to do so.
Connecting data to create valuable insights
While companies know their vehicles and drivers generate a lot of data, it is only by connecting the various data points that they can gain the insight that makes it truly valuable.
Our solutions do exactly that — connecting the data points and delivering the clear, actionable insights our customers need to manage their vehicles and drivers more effectively.
Already, we're adding more powerful functionalities to our solution that give customers even greater levels of insight into and control over their operation, such as order optimization, IT integration, camera services, connected tires, and much, much more.
We know from experience that the cutting-edge tech of today becomes commonplace tomorrow, and indispensable the day after. That's why we'll position ourselves ahead of the competition, investing in and focusing on bringing the most powerful, technologically sophisticated innovations in mobility to the world.
