TomTom fleet management business grows by 38% to 330,000 connected vehicles

TomTom has enjoyed another year of strong growth for its fleet management business after recording a 38 per cent increase in its install base.
A total of 330,000 vehicles are now managed by TomTom Business Solutionsβ technology β up from 239,000 in January 2013. In excess of 27,000 clients use TomTomβs fleet management service to manage vehicles driven in more than 60 countries worldwide.

TomTom is set to launch its latest innovation in the first quarter of this year β a product designed to help small businesses take advantage of connected car technology.
The device will plug directly into a vehicleβs OBD port, allowing customers to install it themselves. This means no installation charges, helping to make the device a cost-effective, entry-level track and trace product.
